Three Tiers of Driveway Paving from Richfield Blacktop

We’ve developed a three-tier system for driveway paving that lets the property owner select different methods of paving their asphalt driveway, after we examine the site. This allows our customers to select the paving system that is best for their individual needs.

Tier 1 – Silver – For this most economical tier, we remove the existing asphalt or concrete paving, then grade the existing sub-base and re-pave the driveway with hot-mix asphalt. If you have a good sub-base and a soil type that is suitable for this method, it is the lowest cost paving method. Not all sites are suitable for this Silver driveway paving.
Tier 2 – Gold – Suitable for most residential driveway situations, for this tier, we remove the paving and existing sub-base, install a 4-6" new sub-base and repave. This popular tier is great for most residential driveways.
Tier 3 – Platinum – For our finest driveway tier, we remove the old pavement and sub-base, then replace with 6-8" of high-quality sub-base materials and repave. This Platinum tier is ideal for problem soil types, and whenever the property owner wants maximum life and durability.
